Welcome to Lane! This document ("Terms of Service", "Terms") governs your use of our service. Please read it carefully before using the app.


1. General Provisions

1.1. This document sets the terms for using the Lane mobile application ("Service", "we", "our").

1.2. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using Lane.


2. Service Description

2.1. Lane is a music service that allows users to search for and import music tracks for personalized playlists.

2.2. Lane is not a streaming service, does not provide access to third-party audio files, and does not store music.

2.3. The Service uses music platform APIs (Spotify, SoundCloud) to search for and retrieve metadata about tracks (title, artist, cover image, and other data).


3. Use of Third-Party APIs

3.1. Lane uses the Spotify and SoundCloud APIs solely to search for and display information about songs.

3.2. Lane does not transmit, store, or distribute audio files from these platforms.

3.3. Logos, icons, and brand elements of Spotify, SoundCloud, and other platforms are used for informational purposes only. Their use does not imply partnership, endorsement, or official support.

3.4. The user acknowledges that content found through Lane is subject to the terms of the respective platforms.


4. Copyright

4.1. Lane does not store or distribute copyrighted content.

4.2. All rights to music compositions belong to their respective copyright holders.

4.3. If a user wants to listen to or download a track, they must follow the terms of the relevant platform (e.g., Spotify, SoundCloud).


5. Limitation of Liability

5.1. Lane is provided "as is" without any warranties.

5.2. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, absence of errors, or full compatibility with devices.

5.3. Lane is not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.

5.4. Lane does not control the accuracy, legality, or availability of content retrieved via third-party APIs.


6. DMCA & Copyright Policy

6.1. Lane respects intellectual property rights. If you believe that any content violates your rights, please send a complaint to dmca@sklane.com including:

9.2. Continued use of the Service after the Terms are updated constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
